Parker Ford and Mackay have had a large rigid gas permeable (RGP) lens practice since we opened over 40 years ago. These lenses take more skill to fit, and for that reason, only a few offices, like ours, are well versed in their application. RGP lenses are used for patients with high amounts of corneal astigmatism, keratoconus, and post-operative irregularities after corneal transplants or cross-linking surgeries.
